By Jeff Moore
The has to be one of the greatest toys ever. This is a toy that gets used a lot, lasts along time, and is available in many varieties. Considering that, the is probably one of the best values ever.

Teaching a child to ride the best toy ever is easier than most parents think. Every parent is proud in wanting to see there child ride there new toy.One of the easiest methods in teaching them to ride is to start them out on a scooter. The whole concept of being closer to the ground and having one foot on the ground, gives them a much better feeling of being in control. No need to stress over teaching them to ride a scooter. A favorite method is to let kids do what they do best. Just let them Play. The little tyke will be riding that scooter in no time, usually only a few days. Kids learn balancing on a scooter much faster than on a bicycle.

Training wheels do have a good purpose only it takes young children a longer time to learn how to balance with training wheels than it does when riding a scooter.

Don't make a mistake by being in a hurry!

One good thing about training wheels is that it teaches beginners how to pedal and most important, they learn how to Stop. Most kids seem to pick that up in only a shot time.

After a child is taught the art of balancing a scooter, pedaling and stopping with training wheels, teach them how to put it all together. This next step to riding a usually only takes about 20 minutes. Starting them out on a that is a bit smaller than a best for there size.Maybe on a younger siblings or borrowed bike. Find an area that has a low slope, maybe a driveway, sidewalk or parking lot. The idea here is that youdon't want them to pedal. You want them to sit on the bike slowly rolling down the incline using there feet for balance. At this point they have plenty of confidence so make a game of it. Let them try a time or two to see how far they go. Next mark a line to see if they can coast to that line. Make a line
further and further away, challenging them each time to go a longer distance. They will be coasting a log way in only a few minutes.

Finally after mastering coasting. Encourage them to pick up there feet and pedal. After a try or two they will be pedaling away, enjoying the greatest toy ever.
